RESEARCH NOTES

Understanding the evidence

The cited S-equol literature provides background on a different test material. It is not clinical validation of FemKudzu.

S-equol: identify the tested material.

A randomized trial studied an S-equol supplement in 160 postmenopausal Japanese women over 12 weeks. The test material was SE5-OH, not FemKudzu.

Interpretation: this publication provides related-ingredient context. It does not establish equivalence to fermented kudzu powder or validate a FemKudzu dosage.

PROCUREMENT FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is FemKudzu?

It is a fermented kudzu root concentrate powder supplied for business-to-business ingredient development. It is not a finished consumer supplement.

Is it the same as an S-equol ingredient used in a clinical study?

Equivalence cannot be inferred from equol content alone. The test material, isomer composition, process and analytical methods need to be compared.

Where can I find the current equol specification?

Ask for the current specification and the relevant batch certificate of analysis. The specification should identify the assay method and whether the result measures total equol or a defined isomer.

Can I request a sample?

Yes. Send the intended application, target market and required sample quantity. Our team will confirm availability, shipping arrangements and any applicable charges.

How are price and lead time confirmed?

Provide the expected order quantity and destination. Price, minimum order quantity, packaging and lead time are confirmed in a written quotation.
